Friday the 13th October was the day for Scoil Mhuire's sponsored walk to Corcagh Park. The whole school took part and funds raised will go towards funding school equipment.
We were so lucky with the weather, it was dry and sunny as junior infants set out together. We had helpers from 6th class as well and mums dads, aunties and grannies and everyone was highly visible in their vests as we left the school.
We skipped, hopped and chatted as we went along enjoying the fresh morning and the fun. Once we got to the park we headed for the playground where the real fun began!
Climbing
Sliding
Taking turns
Balancing
Some of the boys were fascinated with the JCB that was working right beside the playground!
Thanks to everyone who took part in the walked or sponsored someone who did.
