we are having great fun this week enjoying our Aistear play time outdoors. The children have set up a campsite, a water station, a PE station, building blocks and chalk to create imaginative games and engage in free play with one another.
They plan their play beforehand and agree what roles they will take, then the play is run completely by the children. The make the rules and learn to negotiate and work together amicably, which teaches them responsibility and fair play.
